He is alongside 2005 and 2006 series champion Matt Neal, noting that "it’s brilliant to have a teammate that I can learn so much from". He took his first win in the series in race 7 at Oulton Park, and added another in round 10 at Thruxton, where he also took his first pole position. He finished 4th ovearll in 2006, one place worse than Dan Eaves who he replaced at the end of 2005.
