Gordon Tullock (born February 13, 1922 in Rockford, Illinois) is currently professor of law and economics at the George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia. Tullock received his J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1947 and an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1994. He is a distinguished fellow of the American Economic Association (1998). He has published more than 150 papers and 16 books.
