Child Abuse

In mid-2005, a sad and sadistic case of child abuse was discovered in the small town. Local authorities discovered that Melanie Smith, along with her husband had been abusing Melanie's son, Bobby, by starvation and other means of cruelty, which involved telling the boy to drink green rubbing alcohol (which they had told him was Kool-Aid), and when he was doing something the family disapproved of, he had to lift a heavy weight bar over his head (at one point, the bar collapsed causing it to fall and break Bobbys nose). Another family member, Sharon Smith of Gore, was also brought up on charges. She was set free on bail. Rubbing alcohol is a liquid prepared for topical application to skin usually consisting of isopropyl alcohol with a small admixture of methyl alcohol. ...
