WDNR - Find a State Park or Forest (3077 words)
Wisconsin state parks, forests, and recreation areas are as varied as the areas around them--there are forests, prairies, lakes, rivers, hills, and valleys. Wisconsin's First Capitol (exit DNR) historic site is less than a mile to the west. The forest was purchased recently from the Wisconsin Public Service Corporation and is in the master planning process.
