SCCRC

At the end of January 2004, he was appointed a Board Member of the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC). The SCCRC is currently conducting a review of the conviction of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi in the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing trial. The Commission is expected to complete the review and announce its conclusions in the first half of 2007. The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC) is a non-departmental public body in Scotland and was established by the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Crime and Punishment (Scotland) Act 1997. ...
