Grand Turk, at anchor in Oostende, Belgium The Grand Turk is a three-masted 6th rate frigate, well known as the H.M.S. Indefatigable from the TV series Hornblower (and also as the French ship Papillon). It was built primarily as an action vehicle for the international TV and film industry. Nowadays the tall ship is used mainly in sailing events, for corporate or private charter, and for receptions in its spacious saloon or on its deck. It is an authentic replica, based on historical drawings, of the frigate Blanford, the same type that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar.
