Granodiorite (IPA: /ˌgɹanə(ʊ)ˈdaɪəɹaɪt, ˌgɹeɪn-/) is an intrusive igneous rock similar to granite, but contains more plagioclase than potassium feldspar. It usually contains abundant biotitemica and hornblende, giving it a darker appearance than true granite.
