The job of this grease is to allow metal to metal contact between the balls and diff ring without slippage which would cause wear, prevent wear, and promote cooling by absorbing and removing heat.
This grease has applications in RC including use in the differential thrust bearing (not the diff balls!), wheel bearings, clutch bearings and anywhere you need a grease to stay put and be slippery.
But grease is time consuming to apply on very small bearings where you can oil a bearing with a single drop, wipe clean and thats it.
