Greater Dublin Area (GDA) is a loosely defined term which is used to describe the city of Dublin and the counties of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown, Fingal, Kildare, Meath, South Dublin and Wicklow of the Republic of Ireland. The term is described in the Planning and Development Act, 2000 (Section 21) and a number of other statutory instruments for the purposes of planning and development throughout the area. The area is covered in these contexts by the combined "Dublin Regional Authority" and "Mid-East Regional Authority". Image File history File links Greater_Dublin_Area. ...
