In 1998, this two CD set was digitally remastered and it was packaged with two bonus videos ("You're Only Human" and "The Night is Still Young"). All of the songs that were edited in the 1985 package were restored to their original album length. Those songs were "Pressure", "My Life", "Big Shot" and "Just the Way You Are". Also, the live version of "Say Goodbye to Hollywood" was deleted and replaced with the studio version from his 1976 album "Turnstiles". The LP and Cassette have a total of 21 tracks. The CD has 4 additional tracks: "Captain Jack", "Entertainer", "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant", & "She's Got a Way" (the live version, from Songs in the Attic). Songs in the Attic is the first live album by Billy Joel, released in 1981. ...

Billy Joel wanted to connect with his audience, making attempts by visiting the grave of a famous Soviet songwriter, playing with local bands, and appearing on the country's television channels (Benson 16).
The pressure Joel was under came out during the tour when he yelled at a film documentary crew in the middle of a song for shining lights on the audience and allegedly shoved his piano offstage (Benson 16).
Joel's concern is for the children: "I see these children with their boredom and their vacant stares/God help us all if we're to blame for their unanswered prayers." He sang about a world being left for children with a destroyed natural state, no jobs, urban decay, and just "miles and miles of parking space".
