Greenview is a census-designated place located in Siskiyou County, California. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 200.

Geography

Greenview is located at 41°32'58" North, 122°55'14" West (41.549515, -122.920420)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.6 km² (1.4 mi²). 3.6 km² (1.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 200 people, 88 households, and 60 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 55.2/km² (143.0/mi²). There are 99 housing units at an average density of 27.3/km² (70.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 89.00% White, 0.00% African American, 4.00% Native American, 0.50% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 6.50% from two or more races. 0.50% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 88 households out of which 22.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% are married couples living together, 8.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.8% are non-families. 26.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.27 and the average family size is 2.77.

In the CDP the population is spread out with 22.5% under the age of 18, 3.5% from 18 to 24, 21.0% from 25 to 44, 33.5% from 45 to 64, and 19.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 46 years. For every 100 females there are 108.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 93.8 males.
