Coleman Creek Design | University of Arkansas at Little Rock (239 words)
The most significant and sweeping move projected for the open spaces of the campus is the creation of the 47-acre greenway designed around a restored and enhanced Coleman Creek.
Reaching the full length of the campus from Asher Avenue to West 20th Street, the greenway will unite the campus and tie it to the regional open space system via the Fourche Creek wetlands to the south and War Memorial Park to the north.
The intent of the greenway is to restore the creek waterway and associated floodplain, and to improve water quality downstream, while enhancing the aesthetics of the creek.
