Every year in June, Greenwood plays host to the South Carolina "Festival of Flowers". Park Seed Corporation, located in Greenwood and one of the largest gardening companies in the world, plays a large part in the Emerald City's ability to host this event. The Festival encompasses far more than just a standard flower festival, and has also included Jazz concerts, Cessna flights for children, world food, a showcase for classic cars, and even a dog show.
