Grocka (Гроцка) is one of Belgrade's 17 municipalities. It has an area of 289.23 square kilometres, and 75,466 inhabitants. Grocka Town is situated on the banks of the Danube river. Town has nice, "old style" main street with shops, which serves as walking zone. Very good micro-climate conditions exist in this area, making it a well-known place for fruit cultivation, especially grapes and plums.
