Encyclopedia > Groovies

These music videos were based on current cartoon network line-ups like the Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Yogi Bear, Superfriends, and many others paired with an eclectic mix of music from movie soundtracks, popular songs, as well as songs not in the mainstream, or even the obscure. Groovies seem to explode and were used quite frequently, but were eventually less and less prevalent on the network, many believe due to the expansion of commercials.
