Biography: During his childhood he learned the execution of instruments by means of hearing and observation of popular musicians of the east of Venezuela and received some slight knowledge of academic music of Tobías Hernandez and the father Raul Bennedetti. He sung in the choral of the Briceño Méndez grammar school and he participates like executant of mandolin in the musical band of the of the San Antonio de Padua school, of El Tigre, Anzoátegui (State). Between 1970 and 1975, Gualberto made his first presentations in solitaire in the rooms of the Central University of Venezuela and the Andes University. From there, he was able to record his first disc for the Promus seal and being contracted by Radio Caracas Television. Gualberto has recorded more than 15 discs in which he has spread the traditional sorts of the Venezuelan east like: The Malagueña, the Jota, the Shed and the Pole, interpreting works of composers like: Luis Mariano Rivera, Luis Guillermo González, Simón Díaz, Augusto Branches, Enrique Hidalgo and José Enrique Sarabia, among others.
