Guemar (or Guemmar) is a Saharan oasis in Algeria near the Tunisian border, in the Oued Souf area of the wilaya of El Oued (see map (http://www.fallingrain.com/world/AG/0/Guemar.html)), about 20 km north of El Oued city.
