Gussage is a village in north Dorset, England, situated along a small stream on Cranborne Chase, five miles north east of Blandford Forum. Walks: Gussage All Saints, Dorset (84 words)
Gussage All Saints is a small, attractive Dorset village in easy walking countryside.
It is however the largest of the Gussages, the others being Gussage St Michael and Gussage St Andrew.
To get to Gussage All Saints follow signposts from either, the A354 between Blandford and Salisbury, or, the B3078 Wimborne Minster to Cranborne.
Gussage St Michael, Dorset, England (200 words)
Gussage All Saints, the largest, has a church mostly new, but three old bells hang in the 14th century tower.
Before Gussage St. Michael is reached, the road crosses the old Roman road, Ackling Dyke, and then runs into the village where church and chapel stand side by side on a hillside.
Gussage St. Andrew has a charming church in a field.
