Gwangju is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, southeast of Seoul. The city is not to be confused with the much larger Gwangju Metropolitan City, the capital of South Jeolla Province, South Korea.

To the east are the counties of Yeoju and Yangpyeong, to the west is the city of Seongnam, to the south are the cities of Yongin and Icheon, and to the north is the city of Namyangju.
This is a larger temperature difference during the seasons than the city of Shiheung for example, which is located close to the ocean.
Gwangju is a 20-25 minute bus ride away from Moran Station, which is in the popular shopping and nightlife hotbed of Bundang.
