HMS Searcher (D40) was an Escort aircraft carrier of the Attacker Class. Built in Seattle, WA in the United States it was transferred to the United Kingdom under Lend-Lease. Launched in 1942 it served until 29 November, 1945. It was sold into merchant service and renamed the Captain Theo. In 1965 it was renamed again to Oriental Banker and was finally scrapped in Taiwan in 1976.
