Ha, the sequel to the Mercury Award winning album OK is a more club and dance based album. The album highlights on Singh's tablatronic style of production, which has evolved from his first outing Calcutta Cyber Cafe and OK. Tracks such as 'Dubla' and 'Bobby Style' make him a contemporary tabla virtuoso. More mellow tracks such as 'Mustard Fields' reflect his Punjabi culture and brackground aided by sarangi meastro Ustad Sultan Khan. Danceable moments such as 'The Beat Goes on' and 'Uphold' keep the album and listeners moving while providing accessible production for non south asian listeners. Ha recieved various mixed reviews and criticism. Laballed as Club music outing, however a majority of fans and listeners beg to differ. Ha is a more mature and refined piece of work, which naturally exceeded OK and is seen as a classic in the Asian Underground despite its limited success in the mainstream.
