Hadsund is a municipality in northern Denmark, in the county of North Jutland on the peninsula of Jutland. The municipality covers an area of 170 km², and has a total population of 10,787.

Mariager municipality is separated from Hadsund municipality by the waters of Mariager Fjord.
The two municipalities are connected by a bridge between the town of Sønder Hadsund on the southern shore in Mariager municipality, and the town of Hadsund on the northern shore.
