Hampton Hill is a small town in the South Western suburbs of London, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Hampton Hill is a nineteenth century offshoot from neighbouring Hampton; and is the overspill of Hampton uphill away from the River Thames, and across the Longford River (an artificial watercourse built to supply Hampton Court) which forms the boundary between Hampton Hill and Hampton. Aside from the residential areas of the town, the High Street is filled with shops, pubs and cafes, as well as a traditional 75-year old bakery.
