Harrison is a town located in Cumberland County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,315.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 87.7 km² (33.9 mi²). 85.5 km² (33.0 mi²) of it is land and 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.45% water.

As of the census² of 2000, there are 2,315 people, 920 households, and 662 families residing in the town. The population density is 27.1/km² (70.1/mi²). There are 1,430 housing units at an average density of 16.7/km² (43.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.79% White, 0.52% African American, 0.04% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.60% from two or more races. 0.52% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
