Harry Warren (December 24 , 1893 - September 22 , 1981 ) was a music composer of many different styles.
Born Salvatore Guaragna in Brooklyn, New York, he is regarded as one of America's most prolific but least-known composers.
Warren composed music with Ira Gershwin , Johnny Mercer , Billy Rose , and Al Dubin . His Chattanooga Choo Choo was the first gold record .

Harry Warren might well be described as a 20th Century "renaissance man" - athlete, Rhodes scholar, sportsman, scientist, researcher and teacher.
Warren has been associated with the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines since 1932 when he first taught at the Chamber's annual prospectors training classes.
Warren's public service activities have benefitted a diverse array of organizations, from the Vancouver Board of Trade to the United Nations Association of Canada.
