Industry

Three boat companies take people from and to Denmark, on the so called Helsingborg/Helsingör-route. A significant amount of Swedes travel to Elsinore to buy large amounts of beer and get drunk, which they can do cheeply due to low Danish alchohol taxes. The Danish city Elsinor built a considerable amount of its industry on Swedish alcholoh-tourists. As the Swedish alcohol taxes have been lowered and the currency changed, this is no longer so profitable for the Swedes though, but it still exists.
