"Here Comes the Hotstepper" is a hip hop song from the musician Ini Kamoze. This song was recorded in the early 90's. It interpolates the well-known "na na na na na..." sequence from Wilson Pickett's song "Land of a Thousand Dances". It uses a sample from Taana Gardner's "Heartbeat" from 1981 and also the mohawk's "champ" is issued. To date it is his only No.1 hit. The song was particularly popular in fashion shows of the 90's and came to to describe many supermodels or chic girls as "Hotsteppers".
