New Projekts: Art meets music and Drum Legends with Pete York
Rarebell not only played drums for the Scorpions, he wrote the lyrics to many of their biggest hits, including the granddaddy of them all "Rock You Like a Hurricane." In 1996, Rarebell left the performing side of music for the business side – a move that didn’t end up as good as his drumming gig.
Herman: After 20 years with the Scorpions, I took a break but eventually the desire to comeback and play was so strong that I couldn’t deny it any longer.
Herman: It depends, for example, I wrote the lyrics and the music at the same time for the song "Another Piece of Meat." That was a real thing that happened to me in Japan.
Herman is raging with a will to destroy all in its path.

HermanRarebell is a grindcore/crust combo with members from Antigama (freaking classic grindcore band, read my review) and Third Degree (my favorite album cover last year!) and this is just pure grinding goodness.
