Rarebell not only played drums for the Scorpions, he wrote the lyrics to many of their biggest hits, including the granddaddy of them all "Rock You Like a Hurricane." In 1996, Rarebell left the performing side of music for the business side – a move that didn’t end up as good as his drumming gig.
Herman: After 20 years with the Scorpions, I took a break but eventually the desire to comeback and play was so strong that I couldn’t deny it any longer.
Herman: It depends, for example, I wrote the lyrics and the music at the same time for the song "Another Piece of Meat." That was a real thing that happened to me in Japan.
