Encyclopedia > Ho Xuan Huong

Hồ Xuân Hương (胡春香) was a Vietnamese poet born at the end of the Lê Dynasty who wrote poetry in the Confucian tradition.

The facts of her life are difficult to obtain. What is known of her story is mostly legend, that of a woman who could compose perfectly structured poetry off the top of her head.
