The VX Commodore was available in several models. These are the Executive, Acclaim, Berlina, Calais, S, and the SS. All the models in the VX range were sedans, but the Executive, Acclaim and Berlina models were also available in wagon form. The front suspension has been modified slightly, with lower control arm pivot points raised by 4 mm and a ball joint has replaced a rubber bushing on the stabiliser to strut link. Visually the VX was changed slightly, the interior remained much the same, the exterior gained slightly different headlights and the rear lighting was changed. ABS brakes (Bosch 5.3) are now standard on all models, as is a CD player and steering wheel audio system controls. Traction control is now available with the manual transmission. Engines available were the 3.8 litre V6 and the 5.7 litre GenIII V8 as found in the SS. v • d • e Holden Commodore VB • VC • VH • VK • VL • VN • VP • VR • VS • VT • VX • VY • VZ • VE The Holden Commodore is a car built by the Holden division of General Motors in Australia. ...
