There was discussion of dropping "Hopkins" from the airport's name and changing its code to CIA - Cleveland International, but the city ultimately kept the name as a result of discussions with the namesake's descendants.
Terminal and Layout
Hopkins airport is known for its fanciful giant "paper" airplane sculptures. The airport has one main terminal which is divided into Concourses A, B, C, D. Concourse D is a separate terminal that is connected from the main terminal by a tunnel. Concourse D is occupied mainly by Continental Express.
