Horsens municipality is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Vejle County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality is the second largest in Vejle county after Kolding municipality. The municipality includes the island of Endelave, and covers an area of 189 km². It has a total population of 58,560 (2005). Its mayor is Vagn Ry Nielsen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party.
