Students are provided opportunities to take classes in the Fine Arts, foreign languages (French and Spanish), Health, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Speech, Sports, and vocational studies in Business Technology and Family Consumer Sciences. Athletics The Hot Springs Trojans compete in several sports, including football, basketball, baseball, golf, band, volleyball, bowling, weightlifting, track, softball, soccer, dance, cheerleading, and tennis. The Trojans school colors are black and gold. The Trojans also beat the Lakeside Rams in football in the 2007 5A Division season. The football team made the playoffs for the first time in five years, but has not won a playoff game in 24 years. There record for the 2007 season was 7-4 overall, counting the one playoff game against the Monticello Billy Goats, and 7-3 in the regular season. Also, in 2007-2008, the Hot Springs Trojan Girls and Boys basketball team made it to the seni-finals that was located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The Varsity girls lost in the last round of the finals and the boys lost during the second round. Our girls overall record was 19-8 before we went to semi-finals. After that it was 21-9. Our boys on the other hand had a wonderful record of 24-4. After semi-finals their record was 25-5. We had a very great 2007-2008 season this year. We both were so close to going to the State Finals held at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
