Plot

The episode begins with the South Park children having their class pictures taken; it is here that we see Stan and Kyle's hair for the first time (and with a full head of hair, rather than shaved, as in "Super Best Friends"). We see that Kyle has an auburn "Jew-fro" and Stan has a plain mop of black hair, like his dad. (In the season four Christmas episode, Stan's black hair can partially be seen when they're walking through the sewer.) The other children have their photographs taken. Cartman smiles and poses, and Butters is seen combing his hair, although one flick of hair does stick up on his actual picture. During the course of this, Kenny wears his parka upside down and stands on his head with his feet through the sleeves so that his "ass shows through his hood." Ms. Choksondik says that one boy spoiled his photo and will not get it back. It turns out that she is referring to Butters, rather than Kenny. His parents ground him for making silly faces, and are convinced that his normal face is a silly face. Butters becomes a recluse and starts self-loathing his face. Ms. ... With the syndrome, however, they still retain all normal functionality of their faces (including noses, eyes, etc.). When the Thompsons appear looking at Cartman's house for Kenny, he is stunned and can no longer laugh, believing he has seen something so incredibly funny, that nothing else will ever be able to make him laugh again.

At the end of the episode, the South Park milk company officially announces that Ben Affleck was the missing son of the Thompsons. When Cartman finds out, he starts to laugh again. Stan and Kyle decide that he couldn't laugh before because he actually felt guilty for making the Thompsons believe their son had been found Рwhich Cartman vehemently denies, of course. Kenny’s Death

After finding out Ben Affleck was the son of the people with TPS, Cartman makes a joke about calling him “Ben Assfleck”, and he gets his sense of humor back. He tells Kenny to come home with him, and while they are crossing the street, Kenny is hit by a motorcycle and Cartman laughs again (there was a news report earlier in the episode about people being run over by motorcycles).

Goofs

• The Thompsons said that their son's name was Tommy. But the man at the reunion celebration said it was Billy.
• When Ben Affleck gets found, the color of his shirt changes multiple times, from khaki to white, to khaki again.
• At the end of the episode, Cartman is seen without his double chin.
• Ben Affleck looks completely different in the episode "Fat Butt and Pancake Head"
