Hulu Langat is a district located at the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. It is the fifth largest district in Selangor with a population of 915,667. It has a mix of urban and rural living, with a majority of the population living in towns near Kuala Lumpur city.
Hulu Langat town is famous for its durians. This town is also popular for its recreational activities and natural surroundings. Among the popular places are Sungai Gabai Waterfalls,Semenyih Water Reservoir and Congkak River Forest Recreational Center.
