Human Nature is a single released by Michael Jackson from his 1982 hit album, Thriller. Human Nature was released as the fifth of seven singles released from Thriller. The song peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983. The song would also peak at #27 on the Billboard Black Singles charts (which has since evolved into the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs) and reach #2 on the Adult Contemporary charts. Despite not having had a music video produced for the song, given MTV's influence on sales for the Thriller album, it remains a hit for many of Jackson's listeners and fans due to the soft nature of the song and its lyrical content. Whilst talking about his Thriller album in his book Moonwalk, Jackson mentions that "Human Nature is "music with wings". He also says that people asked him about the lyrics.
