Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is the statutory fire and rescue service for Humberside, England. The service covers the areas of East Riding of Yorkshire, Kingston upon Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. History

Humberside fire and rescue service was formed in 1974 as a result of the new Government laws stating that all areas must have an official fire service. Prior to 1995, the fire and rescue service was under control by Humberside County Council, however later that year, the county council was abolished and management was then handed over to Humberside Fire authority, as it remains today.
