The Hunte is a 198 km long river in north-western Germany (Lower Saxony). It rises in the Wiehengebirge hills. It flows generally northwards through the towns Bad Essen, Diepholz, Wildeshausen and Oldenburg. It flows into the Weser in Elsfleth.
