Hyde Park is a town located in Lamoille County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,847.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 101.0 km˛ (39.0 mi˛). 98.1 km˛ (37.9 mi˛) of it is land and 2.9 km˛ (1.1 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 2.87% water.
Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 2,847 people, 1,138 households, and 780 families residing in the town. The population density is 29.0/km˛ (75.2/mi˛). There are 1,220 housing units at an average density of 12.4/km˛ (32.2/mi˛). The racial makeup of the town is 97.75% White, 0.53% Black or African American, 0.53% Native American, 0.39% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.81% from two or more races. 0.77% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
