Hylte is a Municipality in Halland County, in southwest Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 951.0 km˛. Of the total population of 10479, 5308 are male, and 5171 are female. The population density of the community is 11 inhabitants per km˛. Hyltebruk is the seat of the municipality.
