The Ice Skating Instute (formerly the Ice Skating Institute of America) is a trade association for ice rinks, and also an international governing body for recreationalfigure skating. Costumes that alter the surface of the ice are not permitted.
The age for synchronized skating team members shall be as of July 1 of the current competition season (July 1 - June 30).
