Professor Ilies received his doctorate from the University of Florida and earned a Master in Business Administration degree from Iowa State University.
His research, which investigates the influence of dispositions and affect on broad organizational outcomes such as leadership, motivation and job attitudes, has been published in scholarly journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, and Psychological Bulletin.
