In telecommunications, information transfer is the process of moving messages containing user information from a source to a sink.


Note: The information transfer rate may or may not be equal to the transmission modulation rate.

Transfer Information (311 words)
A transfer applicant with fewer than 24 semester hours must submit an official copy of the high school transcript as well as copies of the SAT or ACT scores along with the college transcript.
An applicant transferring from a Virginia Community College or other two-year state institution, who has completed the requirements for the Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in the College Parallel/College Transfer Program, may be granted junior status at VSU upon admission.
Transfer applicants with Associate degrees from other states may be admitted based on a course by course evaluation.

Transfers are admitted on the same selective basis as first-year students and are eligible for financial aid and housing.

Transfer applicants are encouraged to visit the campus and schedule an interview with the transfer counselor.
