Encyclopedia > Infrared Roses

Somewhere toward the middle of the second set of a Grateful Dead concert came a period of improvosation. This part of the concert is commonly referred to as "Space" and came after a drum solo. The songs for this album come from cutting and mixing these jams together to form an idea or a general feeling. There are no recognizable songs from the band's reportoire in this album.
