Alpha Storyline

Prior to Alpha 1, Ingram Prisken is thought to be the clone of the Balmarian Yuuzes Gottso. As part of the Aerogators, Ingram was sent to Earth to spy on the Earth government's activities, after Meteor-3 had crashed. After joining up with the Federation and promoted to the rank of Major, Ingram begins his search for the candidates for the SRX team. When the Aerogators finally began their invasion of Earth, Ingram acts accordingly, and turns on his former SRX teammates. While Ingram was following his orders directly from Yuuzes, who was also controlling his will, Ingram had an agenda of his own: to break free of Yuuzes' control over him and complete his role as a Time Diver, a unique individual whose purpose is to protect and maintain causality throughout various dimensions. With the powerful machine Astranagant to use, it seemed like Ingram would achieve his goal. However, the last battle between Londo Bell and the Aerogators ended up with Ingram and the Astrangant missing, presumably destroyed. More or less, though, Ingram's body was no more, but his essence and influence allowed him to keep on controlling the Astranagant.

Ingram would not appear in the events of Alpha Gaiden or Alpha 2, but by a stroke of luck, the damaged Astranagant, while floating in the darkness of space, encounters a lone Balmarian Varuch Ben, piloted by Ayin, on a recon mission to Earth. Taking no chance, Ingram fuses the Astranagant with the unit, creating the Werkbau; at the same time, Cobray Gordon, the fusion between Ayin's physical body and Ingram's conciousness, is born. Cobray, not knowing who he is, except his name, joins ranks with the Alpha Numbers as the events of Alpha 3 unfold. From time to time, Ingram tries to take over Cobray's body, but because Cobray was unique, in that he was born with a soul to call his own, Cobray breaks free from Ingram's influence and refuses his control. Seeing that Cobray was fit to take on the role of the next Time Diver, Ingram entrusts the power that he had from the Astranagant to Cobray. Thus, Dis Astranagant is born, and Ingram is not seen or heard after this. Dis Astranagant Dis Astranagant, is a fictional giant robot from the Japanese video game series Super Robot Wars. ...

Original Generation Storyline

The events in this storyline is very similar to the events that happened in Alpha 1. However, the most notable difference is that rather than being able to break free from Yuuzes, Ingram's will was tied down directly to Judecca. As a result, he remained an enemy to the Original Generation cast. The other notable difference is that Ingram pilots the R-Gun Rivale instead, rather than the Astranagant. It is assumed, then, that this particular Ingram Prisken is not the same Ingram Prisken from the Alpha timeline. However, some theories suggest that R-Gun Rivale's creation was due to Ingram not having the neccessary materials to create Astranagant.

Notes

The prologue for the animated Super Robot Wars OG: Divine Wars featured Ingram and Cobray fighting one another in their respective Astranagant and Dis Astranagant machines. Since the animated series is a take on the events of the Super Robot Wars Original Generation game, this sequence is highly debated by SRW fans as a possible outcome for future events in the Original Generation universe and its games. However, since Ingram never used the Astranagant in that particular timeline, this battle could be nothing more than a dream sequence, or perhaps a reflection of the meta-physical battle between the two in the Alpha 3 timeline, when Ingram tried to take over Cobray's body, with Cobray fighting back against the latter's influence.
