The International School of Amsterdam (founded in 1964) is a private international school| located in the town of Amstelveen. It hosts students from over 60 countries, ages 2-18, from pre-kindergarten, to 12th grade. The official language, and language of instruction of this school is English, but many other languages are spoken at the school, within foreign language courses and throughout the student and faculty bodies. The academic program is based on the International Baccalaureate Programme which is a very challenging and educative curriculum based on the works of many great members of society that have changed the course of history, and made the world how it is today.
