The International Society for Condensed Matter Nuclear Science (ISCMNS) is a professional society for individuals engaged in condensed matter nuclear science research, including many fields of nuclear science research, some of which are well established such as Muon-catalyzed fusion, and some of which are still rather controversial such as cold fusion and transmutation of elements.

By definition, Cold fusion is a nuclear fusion reaction that takes place at or near room temperature and normal pressure instead of the millions of degrees required for plasma fusion reactions.
