Interstate 794 (I-794) is an east-west interstate highway spur route in Milwaukee County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs for 3.75 miles from a western terminus at the Marquette Interchange in downtown Milwaukee, where Interstate 94 and Interstate 43 meet. At its eastern terminus, the highway loses its interstate designation but continues south as Wisconsin 794. The original plans for I-794 were for it to continue from the Downtown Milwaukee area to Mitchell Airport, however, they were not realized at its original construction, leaving it unfinished. This lead to the Hoan Bridge, being known as The Bridge to Nowhere. This state of unfinished construction was used during the car chase scene in the movie the Blues Brothers. As of 2005, the roadway has continued to Layton Avenue as the Lake Freeway.
