The Song The song is in some ways recycled from another song off the the Fragile (that song being La Mer). It starts off with a gamelan based intro for about 40 seconds. Lyrically, Trent basically laments over his failed attempts of self-preservation, as he is sucked into a void of depravity. The chorus being "tried to save myself, but myself keeps slipping away."
