School Districts

Among the many schools and educational facilities in the town of Irmo is the Lexington & Richland County School District Five school system. It has had schools rated in the top 100 lists of the United States. However, lately it has fell victim to overcrowding due to increased population, mainly from those moving to the area for its educational opportunities.
